With over 15 years in the media industry—11 of those in the world of inflight entertainment—Elin’s love for independent film has been a constant thread woven throughout her career. In 2024, she joined the BIFA screening groups, reviewing and voting  for standout indie films to receive the prestigious British Independent Film Awards.

At Penny Black Media, Elin heads up our Hollywood Indies and Asian film selection, curating a strong mix of buzzworthy blockbusters and under-the-radar gems for airline audiences worldwide.

With over 10 years’ experience in the media industry, Rania has worked in international broadcasting with companies including Discovery Channel, Cartoon Network, and OSN in Rome. Over the past four years, she has transitioned into the world of inflight entertainment, bringing together operational know-how and a strong creative perspective.

Recently joining Penny Black Media, Rania supports marketing and operations, managing the creative side of campaigns while also reviewing films to support content selection. Her passion for cinema and storytelling plays an important role in how Penny Black Media presents its catalogue to airline partners worldwide.
